Frequently asked questions
-
Every shoot is quoted to the property and the deliverables you need. The price depends on property size, location and whether you add aerial video or twilight shots. Send the address and listing date through the quote form, and I’ll reply with a quote within 24 hours.

Often, yes, with FAA authorization. Much of central Phoenix sits inside Sky Harbor's Class B airspace, and other parts of the Valley are near Deer Valley, Scottsdale, Chandler, Falcon Field, Glendale and Goodyear airports or Luke Air Force Base. As an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, I check every address before booking and request FAA (LAANC) authorization when the location needs it. If a spot can't be flown legally, I'll tell you before you book.

Edited photos are delivered by download link within 24–48 hours of the shoot, in full resolution and in MLS-ready sizes. Edited video follows within 3–5 business days.

Morning and late-afternoon light is softer and shows the home better than harsh midday sun. Twilight aerials work well for homes with pools and outdoor lighting. Arizona doesn’t observe daylight saving time, so sunset in Phoenix ranges from about 5:20 pm in December to about 7:40 pm in late June.
-
I watch the forecast, and if wind, rain or monsoon dust makes flying unsafe, I reschedule at no extra charge. Arizona’s monsoon season runs June 15 to September 30, so summer shoots are best planned for the morning.

I focus on aerial photos and video and can recommend an interior photographer.
-
Not for exterior aerials. I just need the address, any gate or HOA access details, and the seller’s permission.
-
The FAA requires a Part 107 remote pilot certificate for commercial drone flights, including real estate photos. A certified pilot knows the airspace rules, gets authorization when it’s needed, and flies legally.
